Laboratory Experiments Developed:
(1) Newton’s 3rd Law – A force sensor is used to verify Newton’s 3rd Law - “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. |
(2) Projectile Motion – Photogates are used to verify the experimental range and velocity of a toy car with theoretical values. |
(3) Vectors – Force sensors are used to perform vector addition. |
(4) Pendulum Periods – A photogate is used to determine the period of a pendulum. Pendulum periods are also determined for varying mass and length of pendulum string. |
